Ah, Fall…the countdown in everyone child’s mind to Halloween. I have been getting my kids all worked up about Halloween for about a month now. Decorations in the store fronts made it that much more exciting, and stopping to stare at the window displays was the highlight of every walk we took.

President’s Day in New York City. To some this was a day when most parents were off from work to care for their children who were beginning a week long mid-Winter break from school. Aside from her husband being home from work, NYCity Mama saw this as another day, another opportunity to seek out adventures
