NYCityMama.com is, first and foremost, a Travel and Lifestyle site, mainly focusing on events, venues, restaurants, and activities in and around New York City, though not exclusively.  I write about my traveling experiences, mostly with my family.

I often receive and accept free products and services that any traveling family would want or need on their trip for review. I also review products or services that relate to New York in some way (i.e., local toy maker, local artist, local business, etc.) that are family-friendly, or appeal to other traveling families.

As a Freelance Travel Writer, I accept, and will regularly be offered paid or sponsored opportunities to travel to other cities and destinations, whether in the states or overseas, to review and write about the family friendly activities one could find there. I prefer to write about places and activities I have personally experienced with my family.

I accept tickets and free admission to venues and events for review purposes.

Though I do not do a lot of general product reviews, at times I will accept free products that I would use for my family or myself and will share our feedback on the “Resources” page, as well as the occasional “Best Holiday Gift Ideas” page.

I do giveaways mainly of tickets to events, concerts, venues, activities, and travel related products or services.  Winners will receive instructions for pick up, or delivery of tickets from the PR representative for said event.

I accept and will occasionally host sponsored posts.  These are posts that I have been paid to write. These will be relevant to my site and will be clearly marked as “Sponsored”, as well as indicating the sponsor by name. I also do sponsored tweets. These are marked [sp] for full disclosure.

My reviews are my personal opinions based on my, and my family’s experiences. We often share what we enjoy the most, and do not promote places or things, even via negative review, by writing about them, unless of course, we feel that not doing so could potentially expose someone and their family to a horrid experience.

The purpose of NYCityMama.com is to promote travel in and out of New York, and all this can offer, as well as to encourage others to take on Adventures of their own, with or without kids in tow.
