Carol’s Fitness Journal February 17, 2012 – Embrace Who You Are!

Yesterday I walked the runway. Yup, I’m talking Fashion Week Runway at Lincoln Center with fashion model/goddess Iman sitting “right there” watching.

Two crazy girls I know (Audrey and Vera from Getting Gorgeous) thought it would be fun to have THIS tomboy join a group of moms in the Strut Mom Fashion Show. I had a blast. It was super fun and I looked gorgeous! But, working out and sweating this morning brought me back to who I am, which sadly isn’t very glam and fashionable, but I think is still pretty sexy.

So, this week’s message? Embrace who you are…every single inch of you, no matter what. Beauty is from the inside out, everything else serves to compliment it as you choose. Own it. And just strut your stuff!

Thanks to Audrey, Vera, Melisa, Denise, and Holly as well as all the amazing strut moms who walked the walked and showed the world how it’s done: in heels, on leaves, and even while pushing strollers! We rocked it!
