Putting on The Ritz-Carlton with S’Mores and Hot Chocolate

We can’t get enough of the city this holiday season. Nothing, not even the crowds can keep us away. So when the Ritz-Carlton, Central Park invited me and my crew for a special treat, I could not resist!

I headed out with my husband and my two youngest on what was expected to be an awful night, but in fact turned out to be quite lovely.

We walked past the famous sights and shops along Fifth Avenue, before making our way to Central Park South. From the second we walked in front of the grand doors of the Ritz-Carlton we were treated like royalty and the ambiance itself makes you feel like you are.

We sat at the gorgeous Star Lounge to take part in a unique seasonal treat: delicious handcrafted s’mores and gourmet hot cocoa. This special treat is being offered every day, till December 31, from 11:30AM to 11PM.

Our decadent snack was served on a mini private hibachi and included homemade flavored marshmallows (raspberry, vanilla and peppermint), premium chocolate, and an assortment of delicious toppings (coconut and chocolate flakes). All of this while we sipped on gourmet hot chocolate, with flavors ranging from Grandma’s Favorite to Raspberry Truffle, Candy Cane Cocoa to Seasonal Chocolate Spice (the boys went with good ol’ fashion hot chocolate where as my husband and I tasted the seasonal and raspberry truffle – so YUM!).

After walking around the city, it was the prefect treat to end our magical night. We enjoyed it as much as our boys and the service and customer care at The Ritz is like no other. For a truly New York City night that celebrates winter and the holidays, its definitely something special to consider.

Pricing for three s’mores and a gourmet hot chocolate is $25 per person, with an additional $6 for spiked hot chocolates.
