Carol’s Fitness Journal – August 4, 2011
This week I learned that too much of a good thing, even when it comes to fruits and vegetables in never good. I learned that the juggling of needs of family and children especially doesn’t stop just because I am on a fitness journey, and that the scale sometimes just misses the point.

Good for you for losing anything while PMSing! I got my period on Saturday and it ended yesterday. I fully anticipate my weigh-in tomorrow to indicate that a)Best case scenario: I didn’t lose anything but didn’t gain either, or, b)Worst case scenario: I now weigh more than I did when I started this whole journey. …sigh…

You are expressing the cares and concerns and the journey so many have to make. Keep going as best you can, Carol — you will succeed. Health & wellness is not about stress – it’s about managing stress and part of that is managing our health. I believe in you.
