An Airy Adventure with Hershey’s Air Delight
What an exciting adventure yesterday was!
I was among a group of consumers and media invited by The Hershey Company to experience one of their newest product Hershey’s Air Delight – which launched in June – in a very fun and unique way.
To highlight the new chocolate candy’s airy, whipped, and light filling (since I tasted it, I declare it to be on my favorite of Hershey’s chocolate candies). The Hershey Company provided a tasting that included a helicopter ride as well as a hot air balloon ride in their very own Hershey’s hot air balloon! All in one fabulously gorgeous early morning.
Turns out that they will continue to provide consumers with a taste of the new Air Delight, in their Hershey’s hot air balloon this entire weekend during The New Jersey Festival of Ballooning which kicks-off today July 29, and runs till July 31, 2011. The festival is expected to be a colorful display of over 100 balloons.
Admission to the festival is $30 for adults, $15 for children, their is no fee to taste the Hershey’s Air Delight and experience their hot air balloon.
I was delighted to have been a part of the tasting experience. A helicopter ride along New York City’s Hudson River border and above Central New Jersey, not once, but twice in one day, followed by a ride on a hot air balloon is pretty adventurous.

The helicopter company used was Air Pegasus V.I.P. Heliport located on the Hudson River and 30th Street. (For more information on helicopter rides in New York City, please check out my review of my first experiencehere.) Exceptional car service was provided by Pablo Ancho of Executive Elite Car Service, LLC.
The entire experience was sponsored by The Hershey Company, and we ll got to walk away with a bag of Air Delight goodies as well!

Helicopters, Air Balloons and Chocolate – sounds like some kind of Willie Wonka/Jules Verne mash-up. And also sounds totally awesome.
Hahaha! I like that description Anna!
