Wine Tastings, Spa Treatments, Tents and More at Affinia Gardens
On what was quite possibly one of the hottest days this Spring (because it still is just Spring), I made my way over to one of my favorite Affinia Hotels, the Affinia Gardens. If you’ve never been to the Affinia Gardens then you don’t know about their wonderful rooms with kitchenettes (as is standard in most Affinia Hotels) and their coveted suites with private terraces (4 in total!), and the quite local in a prime Upper East Side location.
Like most Affinia Hotels I’ve visited, the rooms are perfect for long-term travelers and families. They remain one of my favorite NYC hotel chains because of the customized experiences that they offer each of their guests through their My Affinia program, and so much of NYC is easily accessible.
Plus, they are always offering one special or another doing something fun and new to make the stay enjoyable for all.
The latest at Affinia Gardens is the intro of their Terrace Menu, with items ordered that can be ordered and set up on the Private Garden Terrace Suites.
The menu features a fun grouping of amenities to be enjoyed outdoors including:
· Tents and flashlights for families with children
· Spa services
· Sunscreen and towels for sunbathing
· Breakfast or picnic lunch
· S’mores-making kit for a late night snack
· Romantic dinners, beer or wine tasting
· Seasonal items to decorate during the holidays such as the Fourth of July
I had fun checking it out, while tasting some of the treats they have to offer from the eating menu. I knew right away this was something my boys would go nuts over (well, they the tent and s’mores, me the massage and wine tasting)!
Just another fun way to experience one of Affinia Gardens and New York City, whether with the kids or without.
Affinia Gardens is located on 215 East 64th Street. For more information about the terrace menu visit: www.affinia.com/terrace.

Wow, looks really nice. I’ve never been there before but maybe I’ll check it out sometime.
