Talking Kids, Travel, and Lunch with Chris O’Donnell

I headed over to Times Square today to check out the Lunchables with Fruit event going on there. Let’s face it. I have three boys, and though Lunchables isn’t our daily choice for lunch for our kids, it has been a choice when we plan on being on the road and want to grab something quick and easy that is not served through a take out window, or when my kids have a field trip and I am in a hurry to pack them some lunch. The fact that they now give you fruit (as opposed to a candy bar) as a dessert option is great for me and my crew.

I also had a chance to chat it up a bit with their spokesperson, actor Chris O’Donnell, currently staring in NCIS Los Angeles. A frequent traveler, and father of five, I wanted to know how he manages it all, and also asked for some must-see spots for visitors with kids to Los Angeles.

The conversation was easy and he’s a pretty great guy – friendly and charismatic. How much so? After greeting me, he smiled and started to talk to me about my blog, which of course is like talking to a parent about their baby. I was all over it – I only wish I had remembered to turn the camera on sooner! But I did manage to catch a good part of our convo on film.
