Celebrate Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week!

The Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2nd Annual Bright House Networks Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week and Kick-Off Party. Restaurant Week will start on Mother’s Day and last the entire week, (May 8-14, 2011), with over 30 restaurants participating!

Throughout the week, patrons will enjoy three-course, prix fixe menus ranging in price from $15 – $35 and will vote on their favorite food and chef and have a chance to win fabulous prizes. The Grand Prize is a trip to San Diego for two during Restaurant Week there, staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt including airfare.

The Kick-Off Party will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 on the east side of Beach Walk between the Hyatt Regency Resort and Crabby’s Bar & Grill. For only $10 everyone will enjoy tasty samples from all the participating restaurants and have a chance to win wonderful weekend getaways and more. A wine tasting band can be purchased for only $5.00. There will be a live band and a fireworks display afterward.

Clearwater Beach has a lot to more to offer travelers. Renovations to the area have led to a beautiful new beach side path, perfect for pedestrians and bikers. There are several hotels to accommodate any budget and traveler, and all offer easy access to the beach.

Shuttle buses to nearby attractions are also available, but if staying in the local beach area is what you crave, you are sure to enjoy from the many amenities and beautiful scenery. Perfect for those with kids and without.
