Musical Fun at The New Victory’s ZooZoo

This past weekend the youngest of my boys and I made our way to Times Square and into The New Victory Theater. It was a windy, chilly Saturday perfect for a day of inside entertainment. I rarely ever get to spend one-on-one time with any of my boys and being able to do so with any one of the at The New Victory was a very special treat.

Even more special was the production of ZooZoo. This larger than life creation is presented to us by Imago Theater’s (Portland, OR) and show creators Carol Triffle and Jerry Mouawad, known as well for their production of FROGZ, which was sold-out at The New Victory Theater in 2002. ZooZoo is all about the costumes (which are a lot of fun, and very realistic especially from a little one’s perspective), the acrobatics, and the musical fun.

From polar bears to frogs to penguins coming on stage to do one silly thing or another, my little one was completely enthralled the entire time. This wonderful display of visual theater is perfect for anyone 4 and up.

The show is also perfect in length, at 60 minutes with no intermission. Tickets range from $14.00 to $38.00 and the show runs from till October 24th

ZooZoo will run at The New Victory Theater from October till 24, with remaining performance schedules as follows:

Friday October 22 7pm

Saturday October 23 12pm, 5pm

Sunday October 24 12pm, 5pm
