Giveaway! Family Dish Cookbook
I recently accepted the role as Ambassador for Unilever’s Family Dish program. My thinking in doing so was that it challenged me to do two things:
1) Involve my boys with the kitchen more
2) Learn recipes that include every day products that I may not instinctively use because of my tendency to cook Dominican meals, but that my husband does, especially when I am not around, and that actually work to help maximize the very limited time we have for cooking these days.
I have started to write out my recipes and experiences at the Family Dish site and am sharing my stories along with 11 other wonderful ladies.
It’s been difficult at times, as real life sets in, with schedules and coordination of kids to come into the kitchen with me, but it’s been lots of fun, and we have really found something we love to do together.
I will be adding more recipes to the Family Dish site for a little while longer, so don’t forget to check them out and follow the #familydish hashtag on Twitter.
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you one of the resources that I have relied on for ideas to use with my family. The Family Dish Cookbook is a small, soft cover, spiral bound book, with lots of great recipes ideas for snacks, lunch, and dinner and I am giving a few copies away!
To enter for a chance to win a copy of the Family Dish Cookbook:
1) Visit the Family Dish Website and let me know which recipe you think you would love to try at your home
2) Tweet about the giveaway usung the #FamilyDish hashtag and don’t forget to @NYCityMama
3) Leave a message on the NYCityMama Facebook page that you would like to win a Family Dish Cookbook.
Several winners will be selected on Tuesday, October 26 by end of day!
