Vail Resorts Introduce Epic Summer Adventures Through September
There is one location in the Rocky Mountains that I have been meaning to visit with my family but haven’t had the chance. And that is Vail Resorts. I wrote about Vail Resorts’ Epic Summer a while ago after reviewing a lot of their material, meeting a few of their representatives from not only the public relations and marketing team, but also those heavily involved in maintaining the purity and preservation of the Rocky Mountains so that we may continue to enjoy for many more years to come.
I became fond of not only the various staff members there, but also of their ideologies and passion for catering to traveling families.
And though I haven’t made it over there with my crew just yet, I still want to share specials and announcements coming from them so that you can get out and enjoy it with yours.
The most recent news coming from Vail Resorts is the introduction of the Epic Summer day trips. These trips pair an epic adventure and knowledgeable guides who show guests some of the most intriguing and awe-inspiring spots in the Rocky Mountains. The trips are all-inclusive and serve as a way to experience the many activities that Colorado has to offer, such as the breathtaking vistas sprinkled with wildflowers, iconic landscapes and insider knowledge about Colorado’s storied history. Ah, yes. Sounds heavenly.
For this experience, guests choose from a spectacular trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, whitewater rafting in the Rockies, horseback riding in Beaver Creek or gold panning in Breckenridge. These trips are ideal for families or groups of friends seeking soft adventure and include three meals, transportation, and gratuities.
Each trip leaves from Keystone, Colorado. Itineraries are planned to showcase the best rivers to raft, trails to hike, and sights to see from a local’s perspective so the trips prove to be fun and also educational.
Epic Summer day trips run now through September 12, 2010 and are priced at $189 for adults and $159 for children. Epic Summer four- and seven-day trips are also available for guests seeking even more adventure. Guests looking to participate in Epic Summer day trips can take advantage of a fourth night free special on two-bedroom condominiums at Keystone, averaging out to $140 per night for a four-night stay.
