Frances England’s NYC Debut at 92YTribeca

Children’s musician Frances England will mark her NYC debut at 92YTribeca. I love the various concert series offered at 92YTribeca. The location is both kid and adult friendly, the space awesome for kids entertainment. Which is why I believe you will enjoy this upcoming performance.

Frances’ debut album, Fascinating Creatures, was the sole winner of the 2008 Oppenheim Platinum Music Award, whose reviewer stated, “Once in a while a new and distinctive voice arrives with songs that are bright and clever and totally on the mark for young listeners.”  Christopher Healy placed Fascinating Creatures on his December 2009 AOL ParentDish “Best CDs of the Decade” list, writing, “For someone who never intended to become a professional musician, Frances England put together one of the beautiful sets of acoustic alt-rock songs in the past several years. She’s a one-woman Lilith Fair.”

Frances’ second CD, Family Tree, was honored with the prestigious Parents’ Choice Gold Award.  Of  Family Tree, the Los Angeles Times wrote, “England is, quite simply, an original, treating young listeners with the caress of soft, folk-rock authenticity in her expressive voice.”

It promises to be a fun activity for the entire family. For other a list of performances at 92YTribeca go HERE. Also make sure to check out out Upcoming Events page!
