No car in the city, but dying to do some bulk shopping at Cost Co? Or how about just driving across town to run errands and load up on some hard to carry items? Well, don’t worry about being seen in grandma’s car because for the month of March you can rent a Smart Car from Connect by Hertz for $2 an hour with unlimited mileage. As with all Connect by Hertz cars, there are no fuel costs and no insurance charges. All this for $2/hr! Plus, this little baby is so small parking in the city is a breeze!

Ok, seriously, how cute is this? And so perfect for driving and parking in NYC!!

Connect by Hertz March Promotion details:

To rent the smart car for $2/hr, sign up for a Connect by Hertz membership.
Once you’re approved, you will be able to log in and rent a car.
The special $2 rates will be clear on the website – no code needed. Members need to log in, enter the dates and then sort by car model (“Smart”) to find the garages with vehicles available.

Membership packages:

Connect Membership: $50 annual fee. Regular rates start at $10 per hour or $70 per day. Smart Car rates are $2 per hour or $48 a day for the month of March.
Connect 50 Membership: $50 monthly fee, no annual fee. Regular rates start at $9 per hour or $63 per day. Smart Car rates are $2 per hour or $48 a day for the month of March.
Connect 125 Membership: $125 monthly fee, no annual fee. Regular rates start at $8.50 per hour or $59.50 per day. Smart Car rates are $2 per hour or $48 a day for the month of March.
