Kiehl’s Since 1851 and Equinox Unite!

The most fabu fitness club in New York (found in other cities as well) has entered into an exclusive partnership with the fabu Kiehl’s Since 1851, best known for its ever present quality skin and hair care formulas. As if Equinox members weren’t fortunate enough, they now get to enjoy amazing products in their club’s locker rooms and for sale at The Shop.

Featuring products that cater to all skin and hair types, these gym-mavens’ locker room routines now mimic their at-home regimens with Kiehl’s coconut-derived Amino Acid Shampoo, detangling Hair Conditioning & Grooming Aid Formula 133, Grapefruit Liquid Body Cleanser and luxurious Creme de Corps body moisturizer– an experience that is worth approximately $30 in product as part of their membership.

In addition to experiencing an array of Kiehl’s iconic products in all forty-eight of Equinox’s locker rooms nationwide, members can also purchase fifteen best-selling Kiehl’s products at Equinox retail locations. For the introduction of this extensive program, Kiehl’s samples were distributed to Equinox members at each club – a sampling program that will continue on an ongoing basis.

Future partnership components will include Equinox-exclusive Kiehl’s kits, special gym member rewards redeemable at the Kiehl’s East Village Flagship and Upper West Side stores, and 3-day gym passes for Kiehl’s patrons to utilize at Equinox.

Equinox membership is not cheap. In speaking to several club members I found out that monthly fees range from $120-$165. There is also an initiation fee, which can range up to $600 with no special promotion. However, the members I spoke to also say that it is well worth the money spent and the reception to the new partnership with Kiehl’s has been very positive with everyone I spoke to agreeing that it has taken their experience to a new level of joy.
