Review & Giveaway of “Best of New York” from Baffled By Travel
Recently I received a copy of Best of New York city guide from a group called Baffled by Travel from Toronto, ON. Their 10 Second City Guides are a collection of awesome guide books with very succinct descriptions of the various places to visit, eat, and enjoy in cities such as London, Chicago, Paris, Toronto, and of course, New York.
An easy guide to follow, with clearly mark maps for every section in town, it’s definitely user-friendly and a great resource for planning your day while in any one of the beautiful cities they feature.
I love that among the many categories they have, they highlight the best things to do on a month-by-month basis, perfect places and activities, that are local favorites, kid-friendly, and even free!
It seems however that most of their activities don’t go very far up Manhattan, with maps and activities ending in the lower part of Harlem. But of course, rarely do visitors or many Manhattan residents for that matter, ever venture so far up anyway (though those of us in the know who live here are aware of the awesome things to see and do further Uptown too).
I think this is a great guide to keep handy and a wonderful travel companion. I can’t wait to see what else Baffled By Travel puts out for those looking to discover new cities, or even more of their own.

Oooh, I would love that book before I head to the city for Blogher! Also, I will go looking for the Paris one because that is my favorite city of all time!

OH.. It’s so hard to choose only one. Those are cities I would love to explore with my kids. But for now, NYC is top of my list as it’s more doable for us.
I would have to say Paris. It’s one city I’ve been dying to see and be in for many years. My true love is New York City but I can go there anytime. But Paris, it’s a once in a lifetime deal for me.. lol Cool giveaway!!!
