Celebrate NYC Debut of 24 With $24 at Affinia Shelburne

Jack Bauer, the TV hero who solves international crises 24-hours at a time, is coming to the streets of New York City for the first time on January 17, and Affinia Hotels is helping fans celebrate the highly anticipated return of 24’s eighth season with a giveaway on its @affiniahotels Twitter page that starts on January 13.

Affinia Hotels’ Twitter followers who help spread the message that “Jack is back” will be entered to win an overnight stay at Affinia Shelburne, Affinia Hotels’ newest NYC hotel, for a greatly reduced rate of $24 on any night Season Eight of 24 airs on TV until the season finale in May 2010. After the 24-hour contest period, Affinia Shelburne’s General Manager David McManus will pick a winner at random, who will then be announced on @affiniahotels Twitter page on Thursday, January 14. After the winner has been announced, all participants will receive a private link via DM offering the option to book a room at Affinia Shelburne for $24 for Sunday, January 17 only. There are only 24 rooms available for the $24 rate, new bookings only.

In conjunction with the Twitter giveaway, Affinia Shelburne is hosting a special 24 viewing party from 9-11pm on January 17, 2010. The premier will air live in the hotel’s lobby lounge, located at 303 Lexington Avenue, and attendees can enter a drawing to win one grand prize of the $24 overnight rate at Affinia Shelburne, plus additional 24 Season 1-7 DVD giveaways.
