Help Passports with Purpose and Help Build A School in Cambodia

Today is an exciting day!  Today, November 30, begins the day of drawings for amazing prizes to help support the cause for Passports with Purpose.

We are joining forces to help support American Assistance for Cambodia (AAfC) an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving opportunities for the youth and rural poor in Cambodia. Our goal for 2009 is to raise $13,000 to build a school in rural Cambodia!

Travelbloggers everywhere are participating for this cause. Some, like me, are helping to spread the word (keep checking the side widget to see where we are in reaching our goal) and others are hosting awesome giveaways in support of this fundraising effort. See the full list of prizes, bloggers participating and the fabulous prizes being given away beginning today!

For each $10 donation that you make to AAfC, you will will be entered in the giveaway(s) of your choice. The fundraiser closes on December 21 and all proceeds go directly to AAfC.

Last year, Passports with Purpose raised over $7000 dollars for Heifer International. In 2009, we’ve extended our goals and hope you’ll join us again for a second round of giving.

Check out Passports with Purpose, enter the giveaways, or help spread the word, and help us build a much needed school in Cambodia!
