Hi Kendra...yes, this market is the actual farmers, organic, and it is so inexpensive...Especially in comparison to the many other markets in the city. The farmers are so friendly, so amicable. If you are back in the city when they are open, I recommend you travel uptown and visit...and stop by the bakers' area too...delicious!

I visited New York City for the first time ever last August. One day was just NOT enough! I wish I were there for that market! Were those fruits and veggies organic? Farmer's Markets have become a lost art, or become very commercialized. The ones where the sellers are ACTUAL farmers from the local area are the best! Thank you for the pictures.
