The Adventure Begins: The Minivan
The time has arrived. We are packed. We are ready to go. Everyone is in bed, resting for the early morning trip ahead, but I am here, writing to you. My hope is that we start making our way to Madison, WI by 5:30am.
Today was exciting, and stressful, and exhausting. You can see it in my face on the video below. We got the 2009 Volkswagen Routan delivered. The boys were super excited. I was super excited to get it. It’s a nice looking vehicle. I took some pictures to share with you:

You can learn more about the 2009 Volkswagen Routan here.
The car, though lovely, did not come without it’s unexpected surprises, and so the Adventure Begins…

Good luck on the trip hun! Can’t wait to hear more. That minivan looks C-O-M-F-Y!
Oh man, thanks for the laugh. What a great video! I really enjoyed the kids too. I agree w/ Nikki – You just record them more often.
About the car, I would be upset that the van had no GPS or DVD. I mean, they want you to test drive it and they want you to give it a great review and they provide you with none of those things? C’mon! That is a big disappointment. I guess they lose some points there.
Anyway, I hope you have a great trip and the boys behave and they don’t give you guys any headaches. If worse comes to worse, go to the nearest Walmart or Target and buy them a new DVD player. It may be worth the $100.
Good luck girl!
Minivans rock!
Drive safe, have a fun trip!
I love your sound effects for the Routan!
I can’t wait for you to get on the road! (and yeah, good luck with your search for arroz con pollo!)
And GOOD FOR YOU for being okay w/ your kids having to actually be entertained by looking out the window instead of watching DVDs. That’s the spirit of a real road trip!
Have a great time! Post (and tweet) lots!
xoxo
Great minivan! Looks very comfy with a lot of room to move around. I enjoyed the video and the kiddies are such cuties, he, he. Drive safe and enjoy your trip!
