Qubo Fun at The Scholastic Store, Soho, NY

“Look Mama! It’s Turbo Dogs!” NYCity Mama’s 3.5 year old could not believe his eyes.  He stood in awe for a few seconds before finally moving slowly towards him.

Mama and family had ventured downtown to their favorite bookstore, Scholastic in Soho, to see two of the boys’ favorite Qubo television characters, “Dash” from Turbo Dogs and “Dragon” from Dragon. If you have been following Mama’s adventures for some time, than you know that Scholastic is a favorite hang out for them.

The store is so colorful and happy, the selection of books and toys is amazing, and her three boys absolutely go nuts, there they enjoy it so much. For Mama it is fun to come here because the staff always make her feel at ease as her boys look around excited about all there is to see.

Thus, adding the Qubo characters to the mix seemed almost too much for them!  After the shock, sheer joy took over and her 3.5 year old posed for photos, gave out high-fives, and even participated in the “spin-the-wheel” fun going on at the Qubo table.  He won some cool prizes and especially loved his Qubo bag, which he immediately put on and now carries around with him everywhere he goes.

The boys and Mama walked over to The Magic School Bus  section in the store where kids were making paper airplanes. Though the little ones became easily distracted by all the fun found in the bus, Mama participated in the paper airplane activity and made a pretty cool one…and it flies really well too!

Mama is looking forward to another fun weekend at the store and encourages you to check out their Events Calendar to see the exciting things coming up soon!  See you there!
