A Look Back on Mom’s Nite Out, 2009

Last week, NYCity Mama had the pleasure of joining her fellow blogging friends to a wonderful night out at the beautiful Wyndham Garden Hotel courtesy of the fabulous Maria BaileyKatja Presnal, and Kim Orlando. She had a great time, winning several prizes: a $100 gift certificate from 1-800-Flowers, a $25 gift certificate from SpaWish.com and an original drawing of all the Disney Moms (Minnie, Daisy, and others) signed by the author!

Best of all she had a chance to meet and get together with all the wonderful women who are responsible for great blogs such as Mama Bird DiariesGreen Baby NYCMom in The CitySelfish MomThe MotherhoodPrimetime ParentingAgeless Body Timeless Mom,  The Buzz, and Babies Gotta Have It. She spent most of the night chatting it up with the very funny and sweet Latina on a Mission and Babyrific.

In addition, she was given a wonderful canvas bag from Momlogic with tons of gifts and goodies which her hubby and her boys tried out. The goodies were from such companies as: Allergen BlockBrooklyn CyclonesBlue House BlogsCarolina Pad  ClearEarse.l.f. (eyes lips face)Family Wealth MattersHonest Beverages, Little Debbie SnacksMoving Picture BooksName Your Tune CDs, Propel Enhanced WaterSupergoopThe ShandleToday’s MomsVintage Body Spa,  and Welch’s. (Thank you!)

Once Mama got home her husband tore into the box of Little Debbie Lemon Cakes which he said were “pretty good” as he ate 2, 3 and 4 of them.

The 11 year old really like the Propel Enhanced Water, and especially liked the little powdered packets.  He loved being able to carry them to football with him and mixing it them in his bottle of water.

The little ones love, loved both the Honest Kids fruit juice pouches and the Welch’s Grape Fruit juices.

All in all, it was a great event, great to see old friends, meet new ones, and take home tons of great goodies to taste and try, some of which Mama recommends.

Love your post! I had such a great time with all the Moms that evening. Hope to post mine by week’s end but you summed it up so well! You had me laughing so hard that night, I thought I would be all teeth LOL

That sounds like so much fun! If dh hadn’t been away on a business trip, I would have loved to attend! Must not miss the next local-mom-blogger-centric event :-)

That was super fun. And I totally ate Magnolia cupcakes for dinner! So glad to have seen you there!
