Vail Resorts’ Epic Summer Dinner/L’Artusi

Last night NYCity Mama was doing something new, something different.  Last night Mama was heading out for an adventure alone.  But this adventure wasto find out more about a new and exciting family vacation destination in Colorado.

To find out more, she would have the fortune to have dinner at the fabulously chic eatery, L’Artusi.  Upon arrival she was guided past the bar, to the second floor, in a private room surrounded by a wonderful collection of fine wine, and brightened by the natural light coming through the various skylights.

It may not be a place where she would ever take her little ones to eat, but it would be a lovely place for a date night or a small get together.

She met her hosts, representatives of Vail Resorts.   Vail Resorts was introducing Epic Summer, a vacation experience in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.

The Epic Summer Colorado Family Adventure features all-inclusive four- and seven-day trips offering the best of Colorado, from hiking to Beaver Lake to panning for gold in Breckenridge to rafting down the Colorado Rockies to picnics in Rocky Mountain National Park and more.

Mama listened to how they offer shuttle services to and from the airport, how they offer the services of a local guide who accompanies the family during their stay giving them an insider’s perspective of the area. There are also activities focused on the kids, which allow the adults to have some alone time and take part in their own activities. She also liked the various all-inclusive menus, which are part picnics, restaurants, cowboy dinners and barbecues.

As she enjoyed the wonderful courses of her meal being served by the extremely friendly staff from l’Atrusi, she envisioned her boys taking part in many of the activities offered at Epic Summer, but most of all, the quality time they would surely spend together as a family, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by the wonders of nature. What an amazing adventure that would be for any family!
